This is my personal Blog and is my attempt to keep you informed on what is happening in my life. I visited the Congo (now DRC) during the years that I was working as a missionary in the Republic of Gabon (in the 1960's) but now (2020) I will visit the rural regions. The. About five years ago a call for help came from the Democratic Republic of Congo, a country that straddles the equator on the west coast of Africa. The CEAC church in that country asked for assistance with equiping and upgrading its headquarters by installing computerized offices with modern equipment. This church is one of the largest in the country with 700 local churches and a membership of about 1 million 600,000. They have 76 churches in the capital city of Kinshasa that has a population of 13 million people. I was asked to come to serve as the computer technician to oversee the installations and, give training in operation, maintenance, repairs,etc. Two trips have been made, the first in 2016, then in Sept/Oct 2017, and the last in October 2019.
