Welcome to Don's "BLOG"
This web log is designed to chronicle the activities that I am involved in and to share the latest stories of my wanderings in several countries in Africa. The navigation buttons will take you to some pages that will focus in on the details of this project. I hope to be able to add information as I travel as well as include pictures to share what I am seeing and experiencing. For a third time I have gone back to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
My missionary career began in the beautiful Republic of Gabon which straddles the equator in West (equatorial) Africa, in 1960. Now 60 years later I am going back to where I have had roots for all these years.

CYBER MATTERS
DRC - GABON
INTRODUCTION
Twelve years ago I wrote to inform that a new chapter was opening in my life. Now I can report that eleven trips have been made in 12 years – each trip has given me many opportunities to serve and come along side those who are serving so valiantly in Clinics, Schools, and higher Institutes of learning as well as in churches.
I returned to the DRC in 2019 (The Democratic Republic of the Congo) in October to assist several large National Institutions, as well as a University. Once again I was involved in the installation of computer technology and infrastructure, as well as by giving training in the use of, maintenance, repairs, upgrading and modernization. All of the projects went as planned and the trip was a success story from beginning to end. All our travels went well. Our health was good. We were hosted and escorted by the National Church leaders as well as by Government officials in both Kinshasa and in the Lower Congo province in Boma.
